Caleb's Birthday Celebration Day 2

I made cake balls from the "practice" cake I made, and I let my little man lick the cookie scoop.

Grandpa and Grandma came into town to celebrate Caleb's birthday.  They played with his bubble maker before nap time when they first got into town.

He loves bubble and squashing them!
We let Caleb lick the spatula after his nap time.
Here is Caleb's 2nd set of candles for his birthday!
He got a tricycle for his birthday!!
He felt like such a big boy.  It has a handle on the back that we can help push him with since he is still getting the hang of the peddles.

Caleb's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Caleb's 2nd birthday on his actual birthday as a family.  He opened a couple gifts in the morning from Daddy, Mommy and Anna Kate.
He really liked his new chair that we got him that he brought it to the dining room table for breakfast.  We had blueberry waffles for breakfast before Jarred had to go to school.

Anna Kate was just hanging out.
That night, we had pizza, opened a few more gifts and watched the Cars movie as a family.  We had a great day!  This is his new car carrier!  He loves matchbox cars and was excited to have a big wheel/box to put them in!

Anna Kate's first time in the Jumper

Anna Kate is getting so strong and was finally ready to get into her jumper.  She didn't jump, only hang there, but she laughed as Caleb jumped and shook her.  Cute bonding moment.
She has found her fingers and loves them.  We find her during her naps and at night sucking on her fingers.  It is good that she can self-sooth herself.  She is taking regular naps and sleeping great!  I am loving my little scheduled baby-it makes life so much easier and more predictable for us all!  She is a happier girl now too that she taking regular naps.

Visit to Carriage Hill Metro Park

We went to the "working farm" metro park with our friends, the Fuqua's.  They have a daughter, Isabelle, who is 18 months old.  I think she is Caleb's only friend who is that much younger than him.  It is good for him to be the "older" kid once in a while and he and Isabelle have a good time together.

Isabelle is in the stage of not wanting to hold her parents' hands, but she held Caleb's, or Caleb held hers and pulled her to where we needed to go.  He kept saying "come on Abelle."  It was SO cute.  Isabelle's Daddy, Matt's comment was, "Wow, can we hire Caleb.  He is a cheap babysitter."  It was funny.

Sunday Afternoon Fun

 Caleb is getting SO big!
 Caleb hugging his sister.
Somedays I can't wait for Anna Kate to be walking just for moments like these.
Caleb was SO tired that he fell asleep on his Daddy.  I think Caleb skipped his nap, so well, he crashed early!
Look familiar.......oh, precious moments of Daddy and Caleb.

Bubbles!!

Grandma showed Caleb how to blow bubbles, but he still couldn't get the concept of not touching his lips against the wand.  When we got back home, I found an electric bubble maker thing.  You dip it in the bubble mix and then push the button!  It makes tons of bubbles!

Visit to Colorado Part 2

Caleb wanted to join Anna Kate who was propped up against the pillows.
Craw-dad fishing with Grandpa and Grandma.  We didn't find any, but Caleb probably had more fun holding on the stick pole.

Our blue-eyed beauty.

Caleb feeding the horse and goat behind Grandpa and Grandma's house.  He had so much fun seeing them and talking to them.  He would say, "Hi Horse, hi goat."
