1 Year Pictures (month and a half late)

He grabbed a hand full of leaves in the midst of this picture!  Not sure he liked them much! :)
Here is our handsome little blue-eyed boy!!

Burley Family Christmas Pictures

I had the family go out in the cold weather to try and take a few pictures.  The bottom picture is what we decided on!  I was happy with what we got considering it was just us, the tripod, wind and cold!  Besides, I couldn't resist taking a picture of all us in a hoody and vest (my favorite outfit)!!

Surprise!!

In case you didn't know yet......we are expecting Baby Burley #2 on May 20th.  We are super excited!  This picture was taken at 15 weeks on Thanksgiving Day.  The belly definitely pops out quicker the second time around.  I think the dress also accentuated the belly too.  But, like last time I didn't think I was big at all and then I look at pictures and I was ginormous!  Gotta love the belly!  We will hopefully be finding out what we're having next week.  It is a bit early, I think, but we are praying the ultrasound tech can see if its a boy or girl!  We will keep you posted!

Candid Family Pictures

Here are a few pictures I had the family take while we were in town.  The bottom one I slipped a picture of Jarred in since he couldn't be there with us.

Fun Times in Colorado

 Playing a game with Grandpa.
Relaxing after having our Thanksgiving dinner.
Grandpa & Grandma pulled out their old keyboard for Caleb to "push" some buttons.  Caleb LOVES buttons and the fact that music also came out after he pushed his buttons was even better!!
 Playing with Grandma.
Velcro game with Papa.  Papa thought he might be able to stick Caleb to the beam with velcro.
 Caleb was so confused.
And, didn't stick for longer than a few seconds!
He enjoyed feeling the velcro and playing around with it with Papa.  Kept Caleb busy for a while which gave me a little breather.
I put my hat on Caleb and he walked around for a while with it on just laughing.
Eating some cheese and crackers with Nana.
This one I took at our house.  Caleb was playing "dress-up" with the cooler.  Putting it around his neck and walking around.  We have since been putting a clean kitchen towel around his neck like a cape and he loves it!  It is too funny watching how much fun he has walking around with a cape on.  The above pictures were taken on a trip Caleb and I took to Colorado for a week.  We made the excuse of having to help my dad at work with a few big orders to get away. :)  Caleb and I spent the week spending time with family and good family friends.  It was a nice break for me to get away from the everyday tasks of laundry, dishes, and cleaning.  It also gave Jarred some time to study for midterms without feeling bad about having to study.  My parents also surprised us with flying my sister and her husband out for the weekend!  It was so good to see them and to hang out with them.  We had our family Thanksgiving dinner while we were all together-Stephen even snuck away from his studies to come down as well for the weekend.  There is something about having a big family dinner together and going to church as a family that puts a smile on your face and a tear in your eye.  It was a great week!  It was certainly hard to leave, but it was good to come back to Ohio to be reunited with Jarred.  Caleb really missed his Daddy.

Daddy and Caleb

One of Caleb's favorite things to do is to sit in his Daddy's lap and eat off his plate.  Maybe the food tastes better off Daddy's fork and plate, who knows......but it gets Caleb to try new foods!
We went to the park to attempt family pictures by ourselves with a tripod, and needless to say, we only got a few good photos.  It was hard to keep Caleb away from the tripod while trying to set it up.

I love this picture!  I cannot believe how big Caleb is getting!
