Father's Day at the Columbus Zoo

For Father's Day, we wanted to do something different to celebrate Jarred being such a good father and honestly, just to do something different.  We were told the Columbus Zoo was the one to go to because it is the Jack Hanna zoo and it has an aquarium.  WOW........this zoo surpassed all of our expectations and we are itching to go again!  It was so well laid out, workers who were greeting us all over the place, great animals, clean, and so much more.  It almost felt like a Disney park how it was run.  It was definitely a fun-filled day and Caleb had a lot of fun too.  The joke is that the "zoo had more of an impression on us than Caleb"........and it might be true.  But, for the record, Caleb did have a lot of fun and repeated the names of animals throughout the whole zoo.

Baby monkey-so cute.  Caleb would say "eeee-eee" for monkey and "baby."

A real kangaroo!  We were literally 10 feet away or so from them, well, this one up close.  Way cool.  I had never seen a kangaroo before.
Here is one jumping.  Kangaroos are really awkward looking when they are jumping.

Daddy and his kiddos!  Happy Father's Day to a great daddy!
Mommy and her kiddos!
Daddy and Anna Kate.
Caleb waving "hi" to me!
