Columbus Zoo

We decided to pack our weekend full while Grandpa and Grandma were visiting, so we went to the Columbus Zoo.  We had hoped it would be a bit warmer, but it was great.

We got to see a kangaroo up close and personal.  One of the babies (almost 2 yrs old) was on the sidewalk being a little "curious" the zookeeper said.  Anna Kate and I weren't paying attention, and the kangaroo hopped right up beside us, it was a little shocking.

There were a few ducks that waddled into the front lawn.  Grandma and Caleb wanted to feed them!

EnterTrainment Junction

We bought a "living social" deal to the EnterTrainment Junction which is the "world's largest indoor train exhibit" they claim.  It was pretty cool.  Both Caleb and Anna Kate had a fun time looking at all of the trains.

Egg Decorating

So.....we thought it would be fun to decorate some eggs with Caleb on our rainy day with Grandpa and Grandma.  I was SO stressed having dye, a 2 year old and eggs.  They were hard boiled, but still managed to get dropped a few times.  Caleb loved it despite me "walking on egg shells."

Jarred's Graduation Festivities

Lil' Photo Op

Washington, Pennsylvania

We made a quick trip to Washington, PA to meet up with Papa and Nana for a day.  They drove from Aunt Katie's in New Jersey to see us.  Although the town highlights were closed due to being the "off season" (something we didn't even think of), we had a great time catching up in person!  Caleb and Anna Kate enjoyed seeing their grandparents.
