We are still here, just busy as always. These are a few pictures to sum up our May :) Yep, I am that behind, be warned. The above picture is a new metro park we discovered, Island Metro Park. It had a fun playground where we had a picnic, and a bridge that Caleb wanted to walk over.
Our good friends, The Johnson's came to visit us in Dayton on their way to Albuquerque from North Carolina-yep, we might have talked them into driving an extra hour out of their way to see us :) We took them to one of our splash parks, Young's Dairy, a quick trip to IKEA, a pool party, and I think thats it! We had a great 2 days with them!
Anna Kate is not taking the picture or hiding, she was whipped from the pool party, so she was taking a nap.
Buds forever!
We went strawberry picking this year. Caleb thought the vines were pokey, so Jarred and I handed the strawberries to him to put in his bucket. He had a blast. Plus, he and Anna Kate got a sucker at the end. We had a TON of strawberries. We made a strawberry pie with most of them which was really good-not sure I would go through the trouble of hulling a ton of strawberries for a pie again, but it was an experience.
Caleb is growing too fast. I ask him if he can stay this size forever and he says, "No Mommy, I grow big (with emphasis) and fly airplane." He wants to fly an airplane so badly.
