We went on a 2 week driving adventure. Our first stop was Topsail Beach, NC to see our good friends, The Johnson's. We were stationed with Tripp and Carly in Wichita Falls, then when we were in Albuquerque, they lived in Clovis (3 hours away). We have missed them dearly since we moved to Dayton. It had been 2 years since both our entire families were together. We had seen Carly and Hadley (daughter, now 3) by themselves, and Tripp just last winter by himself. Both our families have grown and they have Hadley who is 3 and Hunter who was 13 months old when we saw them. Our kiddos got along so well-it was so great! Caleb and Hadley were like two peas in a pod! The Johnson's were lucky enough to get a beach house while they were on TDY in NC for 4 months. It was gorgeous!

Scratch the New Address
Hi All,
I am not going to change our blog address. I need to figure out a few things, but stayed tuned. I will update soon and just keep this same address.
Sorry for the confusion.

A Few of Caleb's Funny Comments
Me: Caleb, I can't find the library.
Caleb: Library, where are you?
Caleb: Mommy drive fast.
Caleb touched a pineapple at the grocery store, cocks his head to one side and says, "Mommy, porcupine?"
I had the radio on one day in the house and Caleb says, "Mommy, I watch radio." as he sits on the couch and proceeds to watch the radio.
I was getting dressed for a night out with Jarred.
Caleb: Mommy, socks?
Me: No, Caleb, these are called hose.
Caleb: Silly Mommy.
Caleb: Oooh, can't reach, Mommy. I too tall.
Caleb: My poop break in toilet. Buuuu! Just like that. Daddy, one, two poops!
At the zoo.
Caleb: Daddy, see dinosaurs, pleeease.
Caleb's names for Grandpa and Grandma. "Pe-pa and Pe-ma" (Caleb doesn't say the letter "g") For bag he is "bine" and for hug its hone. He will get it sooner or later :)
Caleb is a riot! His vocabulary is expanding by the minute and the things he comes up with to say are hysterical! Everything is said with emphasis. His favorite words are, "right now," "now," and "no." Seems about on schedule for a 2 1/2 year old! Jarred and I have to give each other pep talks daily that things will only get better and that there is a light at the end of the "2 yr" stage, its called "3's." Praying those will be a little better.

Easter Pictures
Anna Kate couldn't wait to eat, so we gave her leftover bbq chicken which she gobbled up! She LOVED it!
More Around the House
Caleb LOVES hanging out with his Daddy! LOVES it! So much so that he has to do everything Jarred does like mowing the grass. He got his sunglasses and his mower and followed suit. Jarred really enjoys hanging out with Caleb too. Every chore takes 3 times as long, but Jarred is truly enjoying being home more and not having to think or do homework!
Caleb wanted to push Anna Kate around in his car-what a great Big Brother! Anna Kate had a ball!
Around the House
Caleb and I have been coming up with new games to play with all the toys we have. This particular day we put his train track through his farms. Anna Kate enjoyed playing too :)
Anna Kate's hair is finally long enough for a little pig tail!
And, occasionally Anna Kate would crawl over the tracks only to be "moved" by her brother.
We love going to Target and shopping in the Dollar Stop area. We find a lot of fun things! This trip we found 3 water guns for a buck-what a steal! Caleb had a blast spraying the flowers outside. Then, I showed him how he could spray his hair and I may have sprayed him which led to him spraying me. We had a blast!
He figured out that he could spray the water in his mouth for a "drink"
This was ALL Caleb's doing. He wanted to get "higher" to spray his water guns. Cracked me up that I had to let him do it!
I signed up for a free Duncan Hines house party online where I got a box of frosting, their new mix-ins, coupons, apron and cookbook. It was great, so I did some baking and baked some mini cupcakes. I also bought a new cake decorating set, I didn't have one before, so I got to put it to more use. I am getting better at putting the bag together and am just experimenting right now with all the tips!
Caleb's Buddy
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to more good friends. This is Caleb's buddy, Luke, who is 3 weeks younger. Luke's sister is a week older than Anna Kate. So, we had a lot in common and tried to get the boys together quite often. We are going to miss them!
